We were lucky enough to go to Arizona for Christmas! Joe got to experience the Ash family's holiday traditions....dressing up like wise men and going caroling on Christmas Eve might have been enough for him to realize what he got himself into! This year it was only Mom, Logan, and Tate but it was still super fun to be home with them.
We first start our night out by going over to Uncle Cecil and Aunt Linda's house for HOMEMADE pizza, every year it tastes better and better! Joe was going for the smiley face look, not so sure about this one...
we're pretty cool...
Off to see the temple lights!
We then come home and open a gift which just happens to be some new pajamas!
We save the best for last! Each year we draw names and we have to make that person a home made gift! Joe had Tate and he make him this sweet apron!
Couldn't forget the pound of bacon!!!
Joe LOVES the Red Sox and my mom had his name! I don't think there has been a night he hasn't used it!
This was such a great first Christmas together for us. I can't wait until we will make our own traditions someday!

Isn't' blogging just so muchy funny!! You guys are a very good looking couple!! I love the wedding pics...and what about the other homemade gifts?? I'm glad Joe survived the caroling (wish we could have been there to witness his first time!). I'm jealous you were on a segway- i've always wanted to try it. Keep up the posts!!
yea! post #2! reading about the fun that you guys had at moms at christmas kind of made me a little sad. it would have been so much fun if we could have been there with you. i still can't believe you are married when i look at your blog. aren't you still 15 with attitude. oh that's right you're older but the attitude is still there! love it all. you guys need to come visit.
